Unlike many accountancy marketing agencies we don’t operate a call centre. We don’t even employ sales people. That’s because we can’t make people interested in working with you.
What we can do, through open, structured conversation is identify those businesses interested in working with you. But it is not easy to find the skills needed to ask the right questions and respond well to the answers.
We are really proud at A4G to have a team of exceptional communicators. Many of our people have excelled in different industries before entering the world of accountancy marketing.
A4G’s Management Team
Patrick McLoughlin – Director
Patrick has 20-years experience helping accountancy firms grow by working with more of their perfect clients.
He writes on practice growth for Accounting Practice and Accounting Technician magazine, Association of Accounting Technicians’ magazine.
He’s been quoted in The Times, The European and throughout the accountancy press and spoken at some of the UK’s major accountancy events, including the AVN, ICPA and Payroll World conferences.
Patrick also owns and runs the LinkedIn group ‘Marketing Professional Services.’ The group provides a sounding board and advice to over 12,000 members in the UK and overseas.
He has also been responsible for developing and refining A4G’s unique new business generation model.
Patrick tells us that his 2 girls, 12-year old identical twins, occupy whatever free time he has.
Jacqueline Toesland – Director
Jacqueline has a background in management in both the banking and legal sectors. She ran the mortgage litigation department of a major US bank before becoming a divisional manger for a successful West-End firm of solicitors.
After the birth of her 2 boys Jacqueline returned to the workplace to specialise in accountancy marketing as a director at A4G. It’s Jackie who effectively runs the operation, allowing the rest of the team to focus on their objectives.
When not in the office Jacqueline is kept more than busy by her teenage sons.
Ann Dutton – Head of Client Management
If you work with A4G you’ll come into regular contact with Ann. And you won’t come across anyone more dedicated to your growth and success.
Far from the hard nosed salesperson, Ann’s gentle and reassuring style reflects A4G’s approach through and through. She works closely with our account managers and clients making sure we are always in close contact.
Through continuous feedback and contact Ann focuses on understanding our clients better to keep improving their Return On Investment.
Consultants
Andrea Moulding
Having worked for many of the UK’s major exhibition companies Andrea’s experience spans a wide cross section of industries. She managed the launch of the highly successful “Education Show” and has worked on numerous projects including the London Motor Show.
Andrea also spent time as a Social Worker and Probation Officer before joining A4G to help accountants grow their practices. She currently supports our new business efforts.
Andrea has travelled extensively throughout South America and Asia although as the mother of young twins she tells us her wandering days are behind her, at least for a few years. She does however enjoy writing children’s stories, socialising and running.
Helen Wilkie — Copywriter
Helen works extensively with accounting firms, both writing their promotional materials and teaching them the skills of business writing. Her latest book, “Make Your Words Count: a short painless guide to business writing for accountants” is available on Amazon.
She says that deep down in her soul, she is a marketer. Her contribution to the A4G team lies in writing strong website copy, as well as case studies, white papers and video scripts to help our accounting clients build their reputation and their business.
